YOUR SPIRITUAL JOURNEY BEGINS HERE...If YOU CHOOSE

What are your life goals?

Have you ever taken some quiet time to sit and think about what is YOUR ultimate life goal?
When you are about to take your last breaths here on this earth what will be the deciding factors of YOU realizing if your goals were reached?
The important word in that last sentence is the word...."YOU".

Are YOUR Life Goals Earthly or Spiritual?

 For most, the answer to the above question would be "BOTH". There are both earthly and spiritual goals that many of us would like to accomplish. Some people may not be familiar with the terms "Earthly"or "Spiritual". To know how to answer the above question you many need to understand the terms a little more...

Earthly Goals VS Spiritual Goals

Earthly Goals:

Earthly goals are things which you focus on that are material or self achieved for the purpose of obtaining more material possessions or gaining self pride. The fancy car, big house, jewelry, fame and fortune, and likewise are earthly goals. Anything that cannot benefit you in the afterlife is an earthly goal.  Your earthly goal ambitions are for personal pride and to obtain material possessions mostly for you to enjoy. The things that the vast majority of the people are chasing here on earth are earthly goals.

Spiritual Goals:

Spiritual goals are simply things that God sees value in. These things WILL benefit you when you enter the afterlife and stand before God (and His Son Jesus Christ).  When you are spiritual goal focused, your ambitions are for personal spiritual development and using both your material possessions and spiritual gifts and talents for Godly spiritual purposes. Even your personal achievements give glory to God (many times without saying a word).

Consider the Question

Why is the Question About Earthly vs Spiritual Goals So Important?

We only are given a short time here on earth so our time and what we do with it is very important. Our careers, relationships, and possessions, can honor ourselves or God. We must keep in mind that our short time here on earth will allow us to obtain a great deal of whatever we are striving for but for what benefit. The question is...when you stand before God, and He is judging you into an eternity for everlasting life in heaven (or on earth under God's new order) or an eternity in Hell, do you want your whole life to have benefited yourself or God? The key word in the last sentence was "have" because it signifies past tense and there are no do over available once you have taken your last breath.
